Pricing Guide

People on our waitlist have the first option on puppies, not including any being retained by us, in the order that their deposits were placed.

To read about how our waitlist works feel free to visit our waitlist page

Our puppies vary in price range based on gender, coat type, eye color, and pattern(s) displayed.

Sure you can find cheaper pups but at what risk?

All of our dogs are AKC registered, health tested, fed only the very best, bred only for a limited time, and regularly examined by our vet all of which are expenses! We re-invest the majority part of the price of your puppy back into our kennel in those ways. The remainder we invest in our buyers in the form of live cams, take-home packs, professional photo shoots, ongoing support, and research to better every generation.

Buying a puppy from Spottadachs does not end when your final payment is made or when the pup goes out the door. Anyone who buys a pup becomes part of the family. We pride ourselves in remaining available to answer questions, calm fears, and provide support for the LIFETIME of your puppy. We are very blessed and grateful that the majority of our buyers return for a second (sometimes third or fourth) puppy.

All puppies come with a lifetime genetic health guarantee, and support as well as an in-depth health record, and registered microchip. AKC Registration is additionally available.

This is a basic layout of how our prices are chosen but is subject to change without notice due to market fluctuation as well as supply and demand.

Individual puppy prices will be announced on their page around 2 weeks old sometimes sooner if coats do not need to be determined. Joining the WAITLIST does not lock in the price at the time of joining, however, placing a puppy HOLD deposit does lock in the price listed on their page.

To reserve a puppy requires a $500. non-refundable hold deposit.

AKC Pet Papers +$100.

There are those people who buy our AKC-eligible puppies with pet papers just to breed unregistered litters (or register our bloodlines with a less-reputable registrar) using our kennel name and pedigrees without further carrying on our dedication. By requiring a fee and proof of spay/neuter to register our puppies with AKC papers we are protecting the years of blood, sweat, and lack of sleep we have put into our dogs and thereby your puppy. People following such unethical methods do not re-invest in their dogs the way we do.

AKC limited registration paperwork will only be provided upon receipt of proof of spay/neuter.

AKC Breeding/show papers/rights +$1000.

We have put no less than this into each parent’s genetics and testing so feel this is not an unfair amount to ask for peace of mind for your breeding program. You are free to find a cheaper breeder and risk buying an untested pup, pay to test it only to find out it carries something, then only be able to sell it for half what you paid ( we have had this happen several times buying from even the best show breeders) or you can save time and money by buying an already proven bloodline.

We do offer a discount on this fee with proof of completion (certificate) from one of the following:

Breeders Bootcamp Master Class You can use the code “spotta10” for a 10% discount (This course is great for new breeders and experienced breeders open to new ideas for improvement)

AKC Breeder 7 Courses/Exams (These courses are cheaper but much more difficult for new breeders)

Why are Spottadachs pups so expensive?

All of our dogs are AKC registered, fully health tested, fed only the very best, and regularly examined by our vet all of which are expensive! We re-invest the majority part of the price of your puppy back into our kennel in those ways. The remainder we invest in our buyers in the form of live cams, take-home packs, professional photo-shoot supplies, ongoing support, and research to better every generation. About 30% of our buyers return for a second puppy sometimes 14 years later sometimes sooner when they realize they really are like potato chips you can’t have just one!

Buying a pup from Spottadachs does not end when your final payment is made or when the pup goes out the door. Anyone who buys a pup becomes part of the family. We pride ourselves in remaining available to answer questions, calm fears, and provide support for the LIFETIME of your puppy.
